Mallié
Biography
Vincent Mallié studied History in Jussieu for three months, before switching to an artistic career. He joined a Paris art atelier in 1992, where he joined the finer points of the profession. He also studied graphism for two years, before becoming a storyboarder and apprentice background artist. With fellow artist Joël Parnotte, he created a first short comic story called 'Hong Kong Triad' for Golem in 1996. 'Hong Kong Triad' became a series of three albums published by Le Témeraire, starting in 2000.
Mallié and Parnotte also started the SF series 'Les Aquanautes' at Soleil in 2000. In 2003, he began a new series together with writer Jérôme Félix, called 'L'Arche', that ran until 2007. In that year, he started the fantasy series 'Le Grand Mort' with Régis Loisel and Djian at Vents d'Ouest. He illustrated album 7 in the series 'La Quête de l'Oiseau du Temps' from a script by Loisel and Serge le Tendre in 2010.
